Born in Guatemala on October 5th. 1987, and inspired by art from an early age, she first set course at the age of 12 with a landscaping tutorial and since then, any canvas that crossed her path was transformed into a piece of art, from there on she evolved in a self thought process until awarded with the first place in an Estate contest held in Antigua Guatemala. Liss´ motivation was strengthened and endeavored on her first exposition in 2004 at the Central America Gallery with a series named “Espacios Opuestos”, from which she was able to sell two pieces, one currently housed in Spain and the other one acquired by an American collector. She then realized that this was her path and followed it ever since. After this climax she started a new series named Atman comprised of 33 paintings and 10 sculptures that were exhibited in 2005 at the Convento de Santa Clara in Antigua Guatemala, afterwards she encountered several possibilities to showcase her creations and keep the discipline alive convinced by her passion for the art of painting. Several art pieces were showed at various cultural sites such as “El Sitio” in Antigua Guatemala during 2008 with the series “Generaciones” along with the support of contemporary artists from Guatemala. Some of those paintings were exhibited in restaurants in the area. Her series “Mistica” was taken into consideration and exhibited at “Casa Cervantes” in the iconic Zona 1 of the City of Guatemala accompanied by music from the National Conservatory of Guatemala in an effort to fuse the art of painting and music. During 2009 she was invited to a collective artistic effort at the National Palace of Culture with the series “Señales” and “Mistica”. In 2010 she is once again invited to “El Sitio” in Antigua Guatemala to another exhibit with her series “Cesarea”, along with other artists. Then she set course to live in the country for a while, but briefly after set on another exhibition called “Expansion” at the Rainbow Cafe in Antigua Guatemala, some of this painting in this series were displayed at the University of Santa Cruz in California. During 2017 she dedicated time to a compilation of her work from the series Mistica to Sensations with a total of 45 paintings displayed in the offices of the National Council for the Protection of Antigua Guatemala and most of them were also exhibited in the Hostal Boutique ADRA in Antigua Guatemala not long after. Besides the art discipline, she studies architecture with specialization in Interior design, do to this focus she is also involved in the creation of murals that can be integrated in different concepts and art trends. This took her to different projects such as: Rainbow Café, ABBASI restaurant, Beltz Restaurant in Antigua Guatemala, Casa de los Sueños Hotel in Lake Atitlan and the creation of stages for the Day of the Earth of National Geographic celebrated in Antigua Guatemala. As well as Margaritas Restaurant and Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant in Antigua Guatemala, Pana Rock in Panajachel, Solola, El Chipotle Restaurant in Santa Cruz, California and the decoration of a kitchen and a garden in Hawaii, Caruso's restaurant decoration and murals, Casa Rositas restaurant murals and interior design in Santa Cruz CA. She has focused his art more on muralism however she has exhibited twice in Santa Cruz rousting Caffee and in Capitola art and wine festival.   Liss also imparted lessons of art at Casa de la Cultura Guatemala for 5 years and at the Educare Montessori School in San Lucas Sacatepéquez, Guatemala for 2 years and private lessons for children and young boys of all ages. On 2013 Lisset moved to Santa Cruz California and began a new stage as an artist, during these 7 years she has returned some seasons to Guatemala and has traveled visiting Cuban family in Miami and Tennessee, also trips to several states such as, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Kansas and Hawaii.  She discovered that the sea in Santa Cruz California was the most important thing to find inspiration.
